We invite you to visit our beautiful Timber Windows of St Albans showroom. A beautiful cathedral city, popular with commuters, St Albans is full of history, with Roman, Mediaeval, and Tudor landmarks, giving you a real taste of English heritage and culture. This includes its famous clock Tower, which dates back to 1405, and the site of the first battleground of the War of the Roses. This city is a must visit for those wanting to learn more about our country’s history and culture; the cathedral for example was featured on the popular, Netflix series ‘The Crown’, substituting in as a filming location for Westminster Abbey.
The showroom is easy to find, situated on Beech Road, just along from Tesco Express and the Shell petrol station.
An extensive selection of products from our timber window and door range, are on display for browsing.
Upon entering the showroom, you will be greeted by a beautiful example of our Westonbirt style front door with a toplight. Dual coloured with a ‘Harewood Grey’ door sash and ‘Off-White’ frame, the door features stylish ‘Etched Star’ patterned glass, and a house number etched into the toplight. This wonderful front door would boost the functionality, kerb appeal and beauty of any home.
As you walk through our showroom, you will find multiple examples of our range of engineered timber windows and doors, including a stunning 1930’s, Polstead style front door in the striking shade of ‘Traffic Yellow’, featuring ‘Bright Star’ patterned glass and beautiful Chrome Plated Samuel Heath hardware, that adds further character and charm to the door.
Alternative door and window styles available to view can complement a multitude of styles and periods including 1930’s properties, Georgian townhouses, Victorian homes, country cottages and everything between. Many options for customisation are also possible including glazing designs, stained glass, and hardware and ironmongery choices, as well as a vast selection of paint colours including those that complement well-known brands such as Farrow & Ball, Fired Earth and Little Greene.
Other products throughout the showroom display our full range of entrance doors, French doors, patio doors, bi-fold doors, casement windows and sash windows.
All products on offer are made to order, to your requirements, and are supplied as standard with energy efficient, performance double glazing. Our dedicated range for listed buildings also includes conservation area friendly single glazing, where local rules require. Customisation options available with our range allow you to style your new timber windows and doors to your property in an authentic way that will both enhance its value and beauty, and also reflect your vision as it’s homeowner.
